Infrastructure
Four entry and exit doors named after the four Vedas. Four doors also symbolize the equality for all the four sections (Vern) of the society.
Spread over 5½ Acers of land with vast playgrounds, carefully planted trees, lush green lawns, hedges and creeps with a botanical garden adds to the majestic look of the building. Vidyapeeth provides a perfect learning environment to the students and ensures that students not only benefit from what happens within the class rooms but also beyond that.
FURNITURE
Round edged artistically designed furniture is provided to the students to ensure their safety and creativity. While providing the furniture, special attention is given to the stature of the student to accommodate maximum comfort and learning. All the rooms of pre primary wing are decorated with flex boards depicting the entire syllabus in pictorial form giving a dreamland look to the classroom.
ACTIVITY ROOM
Pre-Primary Wing is equipped with a specially designed Activity Room full of toys to play in groups or individual. Tiny Tots are given free time every day in the activity room where they are indirectly motivated to explore their individuality. The walls of the room are carefully painted and decorated with cut outs to achieve desired changes in child’s personality. A small dais with microphones is also provided where children come and express themselves so that the stage fear should be eliminated from the child’s mind in yesteryears. Activities such as Reading, Painting, Story-telling, Make Believe Games, Scribbling Boards, Jumbles, Jigsaws, Building Blocks, Finger Painting, Clay Molding, Paper Tearing, Folding and Pasting and a lot more are accommodated in an effort to make learning fun, easy and interesting, numerous innovative ideas are continuously explored. The outdoor Playpen has swings, slides, jungle gym and a variety of climbers and other equipments.
DINING ROOM
Pre-Primary Students are taken to dining room for the lunch to teach them table manners and importance of sharing.
LIBRARY
The knowledge centre is equipped with about 10,000 books on open shelves ranging from The World Book Encyclopedia to comics, from best sellers to syllabus, from self help to fiction. The large number of magazines and newspapers are also subscribed to let the students understand and witness the history in creation. In spite of library periods, students are encouraged to visit library for their projects and leisure reading. A well trained librarian is maintaining the computerized library.
SCIENCE LABS
Science is doing. To prove this proverb, spacious, well ventilated and thoughtfully designed Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Home Science, Geography and Accounts Labs are equipped to satisfy the experimental needs of every young scientist.
COMPUTER LAB
Air Conditioned digital computer lab equipped with latest models of the computers, all are connected to internet that brings the world in the windows. Vidyapeeth consider computer education as an integral part of curriculum, therefore provides free computer education up to class 10th.
INFIRMARY
The Vidyapeeth has a well equipped infirmary with 4 beds, one ambulance and a trained nurse to meet any medical emergency in the school. Vidyapeeth has also a panel of 9 doctors – specialized in different fields- to provide quick medical facilities.
ART & CRAFT WORK-STATION
To suffice the artistic appetite of the young designer, painters and craftsmen, the school building has in a spacious art and craft work station. The children are encouraged to create their own colourful interpretations of what they see, feel and imagine. Under the able guidance of the Art and Craft teacher, the children undertake many fun-filled projects involving cutting, pasting, drawing and colouring which are displayed on display boards for appreciation and encouragement.
MUSIC
Students from their early age are inspired to learn and enjoy the sound of the soul. A well equipped music room with Indian and western instruments are always available to the students to experiment with rhythms and tunes.
VOCAL
DANCE
The art of expression through physical movements is taught to all those who are not interested in vocal or instrumental music. A well floored dance room with mirrors fitted on all the four walls is used to teach the actions and movements of Indian folk, classical, Bollywood and western dances. Specially trained teachers are always there to experiment with new actions and making them practice the old ones
